Patricio Carpossi

Born in Buenos Aires, 1978. He began studying classical guitar with Irma Contanzo at the age 10 At the I.T.M.C., he began playing jazz at age 15. (Instituto Tecnologico De Musica Contemporanrea), where he studied jazz with Pino Marrone and Guillermo Arrom. He began studying guitar with Pablo Bobrowicky at the age of 18, and composition with Juan Carlos Cirigliano at the age 18. He started playing in jazz clubs around Buenos Aires and performing in concert halls. He spent six months in New York studying with Steve Cardenas and Bruce Barth. Patricio returned to Buenos Aires, where he studied with Armando Alonso, a guitarist, and composed with Manolojuarez. He also formed his own trio with Jeronimo Carmona, a drummer, and Jeronimo Rodriguez, a double bass player, and performed at the Lomas de Zamora jazz festival, Niceto de Derecho, FM La Tribu and Niceto de Tobago. Patricio moved from Buenos Aires to Amsterdam in 2001. He studied at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam, along with Maarten Van Den Greenten and Arnold Dooyerweerd. He also performed at The Engel, Cafe Alto, Bimhuis, and Cafe Alto. He is currently the leader of Cero 11, with Uli Genenger, Andrew Bergmann and Marcos Baggiani. from https://cero11group.tripod.com
