Paul G. Smyth, born in 1977, is a Dublin-based musician, visual artist, and designer. Smyth, a member of The Jimmy Cake, is Ireland’s most prominent free-improvising pianist. He has performed with 17 countries and worked with Charles Gayle and Derek Bailey. Smyth is currently the co-founder of Weekertoft in London/Dublin, along with John Russell, an English guitarist.
