Paul Nedzela

Paul Nedzela was raised in New York City. He is currently a member the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. He has also performed with many well-known artists and ensembles including: Kenny Garrett and Paquito D’Rivera, Bill Charlap and Chick Corea. Paul was a part of Twyla Tharp’s Broadway show, Come Fly Away. He has also performed at major festivals worldwide, such as the Monterey Jazz Festival and The Newport Jazz Festival. The Banff Music Festival. The International Montreal Jazz Festival. The iLoveJazz Festival. The Valencia Jazz Festival in Spain. The Umbria Jazz Festival. And The American Festival of the Arts, Doha, Qatar. Some of the most prominent baritone saxophonists around the globe include Joe Temperely, Gary Smulyan and Roger Rosenberg. Paul earned a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from McGill University while pursuing his musical studies. A recipient of the Samuel L.
