Paul Pignon

Paul Pignon, born in London on 5 May 1939, is a British composer and performer. Pignon studied physics. He settled in Yugoslavia 1963 to study composition with Vladan Radovanovic. In 1968, he was a founding member at Radio Belgrade’s electronic music studio. Pignon immigrated to Sweden in 1983 to work as an engineer and teacher at Elektronmusikstudion. He also assisted guest composers. Pignon was a curator of concerts and radio broadcasts of electroacoustic music. He also did research in psychoacoustics and speech spectral analysis.
