Paula Rae Gibson

Paula Rae Gibson, an English singer-songwriter and photographer, is Paula Rae Gibson. She is the widower of Brian Gibson, a film director. No More Tiptoes, her debut album was released by 33 Jazz Records in 2007. No More Tiptoes was a response to Rae Gibson’s death. It features Rae Gibson as Rae Gibson, and Tom Pilling on keyboard. Time Out selected We Blow It Every Time as one of their top ten songs of the year. Maybe Too Nude is her second album. It was recorded with Martyn Barker and Will Gregory of Goldfrapp. In 2008, it was released by the Babel Label. Will Gregory was the composer of tracks that she co-wrote with her husband. The film was still in preproduction at the time of her husband’s death. The third album was also released in 2011, along with the book Babel Label 2009 : You Gather Your Darkness Like Snow Watch it Melt. It was recorded with pianist Ivo Name and Jim Hart. Babel’s next year release, The Pleasure Of Ruin, on vinyl and CD, featured Mike Flynn and Sophie Alloway, and Tom Pilling. http://ipfs.io
