PERCEPTION was founded in 1971 as a MAGMA offshoot quartet by Jeff SEFFER (saxophones and clarinets), Didier LEVALLET(bass), Siegfried KESSELER (“piano, flute”), Jean-My TRONG (drums). They had only recorded “lively” and released three albums in just two years (from 1971 to 1973). One of these was a compilation called “Perception”.
