Pleasant Percussion

Here’s a “Percussion album”. Enoch Light, a Command Label artist, started the “Percussion” trend. Enoch Light, Command Label founder, started the “Percussion” trend by introducing a cover style that mirrored Light’s jackets. Command jackets are a great example of how to create a minimalist cover with simple shapes and type faces. Comparatively, this jacket is a bit boring. The music is a strange mix of organ music that’s sometimes jazzy and exotic at other times. At times, the music is a bit thin and the engineering is a little lacking. Some phrases also don’t seem to be very well thought out. I think that’s part of the record’s charm. The record retains that 60s lighthearted feel, partly due to its cheesy organ sound. from artworkbymanicmark.blogspot
