Plunge (us)

Boston’s jazz scene was one of the most vibrant in America during the 1990s. It featured a lot of avant-garde experimentation and a lot hard bop. Boston was home to as much bop and as many avant-garde activities as Lower Manhattan or Chicago. Plunge was a mildly avant-garde group that emerged in Beantown in 1990s. It consisted of trombonist Mark McGrain and tuba player Marcus Rojas. They were joined by Avishai Cohen, drummer Bob Moses, and tuba player Marcus Rojas. Allmusic
