Polarity is the latest project by Pete Lewis and Clare Church, Colorado-based saxophonists. King of Hearts was inspired in part by their deep appreciation for Don Grolnick’s musicianship and writing. The Yellowjackets rhythm section musicians are integral to the orchestration and not just a background for the lead lines. These original compositions are challenging and genre-bending.
