Prasanna

Prasanna was a pioneer in Carnatic music playing on the guitar, as well as being skilled in playing and writing in different genres like jazz, progressive rock and world fusion music. He graduated magna cum to laude from Berklee University in 1999. He composed the music for Smile Pinki, an Oscar Award-winning documentary. He regularly performs with A. R. Rahman. Prasanna is an entrepreneur visionary in education and creative music. Open Magazine voted him one of the 50 most creative Indians. Prasanna is a graduate in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology. He worked as a software engineer prior to coming to Berklee for music. From www.berklee.edu
