The original founding date was 1976 in Jalasjarvi. The band recorded a great Jazz Rock demo that included the songs Bright Light From High and The Dream Of Cecilia. These songs are still the core of the band after twenty years. Harri Nokso, Progression’s founder, felt the need to revive the band in 2002. Progression soon found new players and was able to play with renewed energy and set new goals. Harri Nokso is the Progression guitarist Jaan Jaanson, Guitar Jan-Olof Strandberg, Bass Jussi-Matti Haavisto, Viola and Keyboards Otso Pavinen-Keyboards Kimmo Porsti.
