Glenn Goins (ex-P-Funk singer) was the band’s leader. He also served as producer and arranger. The group was effectively sealed when Goins died prior to the album’s release. Arista Records released the album in the fall 1978. Jerome Brailey, a former drummer for P-Funk, contributed to the album. Both Glenn Goins and Jerome Brailey were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Parliament-Funkadelic. P-Vine Records Japan reissued the album in 1991. However, it was soon out of print. BBR Records reissued the album on CD in June 2012. This expanded version contains singles of “Funk ānā Roll”, “Funk With A Bigfoot”, and “Saving My Love For A Rainy Day”. From Wikipedia
