Gregory Shorter Jr., also known as Ras G, was a producer and rapper from Los Angeles. He was a co-founder and beat-maker for the Poo-Bah label and one of the most influential figures in the Los Angeles beat scene. Ras G was as prolific and experimental as he was creative. Ras G had a long association with Leaving Records, which released more than ten projects together with him, including Raw Fruit Vol. 1-4. 1-4.
