Ratatet was born out of a group trio called Electreo in 2014. It consisted of Hall, Denson, and Hanson. Alan began to feel the need to write music for Electreo and the band was born. Ratatet has recorded and played with a variety of outstanding musicians and groups. These include Geoffrey Keezer and Bela Fleck with the Flecktones; Art Lande, Minsarah; Paul McCandless; Lee Konitz; Cirque Du Soleil; Kenny Werner; Kai Eckhardt, Cuong Viu, Ralph Alessi.
