Reuben Gingrich

Gingrich, a Goshen native is most well-known as the drummer for The Main Squeeze, a national recording band. For many years, the band has played more than 100 shows per year. “I have been writing music since 17 years ago, when I first started playing drums. Composing is for me just as thrilling as playing drums. “Blue Island” was my attempt to find a place for my instrumental compositions. It’s all funk and fusion, with a lot of jazz-based material,” he stated. “The core band is made up of some incredible musicians I met in Chicago. There are also a few special guest stars on the album, including B.C. Manjunath is an amazing Indian Konnakol (vocal drum) artist and MonoNeon is an incredible and unique bass player.
