Rhodri was born in 1971. He currently resides in Swansea in South Wales. He plays the harp and electric harp and also builds wind, water and dry ice harp and fire harp structures. Four solo albums have been released by him: Trem and Over Shadows, Wound Reaction, and An Air Swept Clean Of All Distance. He is a regular member of HEN OGLEDD and Cranc. He also has a duo with John Butcher and The Sealed Knot. Common Objects, John Tilbury, and Michael Duch. He has collaborated with the following artists: Jenny Hval (David Sylvian), Mark Fell, Mark Fell and Kahimi Karie. Lina Cannell, Lina Pelyte, Sachiko, Bill Orcutt. Jim O’Rourke. Christian Marclay. David Toop. Gustav Metzger, the visual artist, collaborated with him on “Self-cancellation”, a large-scale audiovisual collaboration in London. He has had new solo harp pieces composed by Philip Corner, Phill Nblock, Ben Patterson and Christian Wolff. He was awarded the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists Award in 2012.
