L.A.-raised, Scottish-born saxman was still touring with Tower of Power in 1986 when he released Trolltown. He has had a dynamic and varied career in instrumental music, scoring four #1 albums (On The Town and Soul Embrace), After Dark and Jumpin’ Off, and a growing number #1 airplay singles. He was part of all-star tours such as Jazz Attack and Groovin’ For Grover, but he also helped to launch the Guitars franchise in the mid-’90s.
