Ripsaw Catfish is a collaboration duo consisting of Cath Roberts (baritone Saxophone) u0026 Anton Hunter (guitar). Their music is composed of a variety of pre-composed elements that can be used or not during improvisation. They met in September 2013 in London and Manchester to discuss improvised and written music. In 2014, they performed extensively throughout the UK. Their debut album, “For The Benefit Of The Tape”, was released in the same year by Colin Webster’s Raw Tonk record label. They also created ad-hoc groups with musicians from different cities for the touring project, “Shoaling”, which was supported by Sound And Music.
