Robert E Person

Robert E. Person is a vocalist who has been regarded as one of the most important in Jazz and Gospel music. The Washington, DC native is known for his exceptional vocal control, polished stage presence, and beautiful tenor tone. Robert studied music at the Morehouse College, where he was a member of the world-famous Morehouse College Glee Club. He also studied at the University of the District of Columbia. Three-time recipient of the 2016 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, Robert has a long list of independent music awards for vocal performances of gospel classics such as “Someday We’ll all Be Free,” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” He also received original works like “God Has a Plan,” “Clap Your Hands,” and “Testify.” Robert joined the ranks of radio personalities by starting his own radio station SOULFUL SEMINARS with ROBERT E. PERSON. He continues to grow his musical brand. This program features independent Gospel artists (Traditional and Contemporary), as well as Praise.
