Rosario Giuliani

Rosario Giuliani was voted the best new talent by the 2000 Top Jazz critics poll conducted by a top music magazine. He became involved in European jazz scene in 1997. He was a talented alto saxophonist who won first place in Brussels’ Europe Jazz Contest. This festival was a major event that led to Rosario Giuliani signing a record deal with Dreyfus Jazz in Paris. Rosario Giuliani, a Conservatory of Music graduate, joined the Giovani Talenti del Jazz Europeo. This orchestra was sponsored by the Italian Broadcasting System RAI. After that, the Giuliani Quartet was formed with Pitero Lussu as pianist, Dario Rosciglioni as bassist, and drummer Di Leonardo. Allmusic
