Sam Braysher

Sam Braysher, an alto saxophonist, was born in 1989. He graduated in 2011 from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with First Class Honours. He was also an Artist Fellow of the School and a winner of the Chartered Surveyors’ Prize. He is now based in East London and has a full-time freelance career as a saxophone player and clarinetist. His repertoire includes early jazz, swing, straight-ahead, and contemporary jazz. He has been a member of the following bands since graduating: Barry Green, Pete Hurt and the John Warren Nonet.
