Trio composed of current and former LMTA students from the jazz department: sax player Simonas sipavicius [simon sheep], drummer Adas Gecevicius (ed getz), and guitarist Paulius Vaskas. Since the autumn 2010, they have spent a lot time in the studio searching for common language and trying to find the limit of their imagination. Sheep Got Waxed was a local band that performed at many festivals and clubs. They also participated in the “Garazas 2011” youth bands competition and were awarded the Audience Award. The summer saw Sheep Got Waxed travel around Europe and perform in various cities. The Cosmo Jazz Festival in France was the highlight of their journey. They returned to Lithuania in the autumn and won GRAND PRIX at “Vilnius Jazz Young Power”. From facebook
