Sherri Roberts, a jazz-oriented singer, has a warm voice. She was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and raised in Atlanta. In 1979, she graduated college with a theatre degree. Roberts moved to San Francisco in that year, and she began exploring jazz and classic pop. She studied with Jeri South and started working locally. In 1994, she recorded Twilight World. She continued with Dreamsville in 1997. For 2006’s The Sky Could send You and 2013, she moved to Blue House/Pacific Jazz. She was supported by Harvie S., Harvie S., Chris Potter and Lew Soloff.
