Stefano Calderano (guitar and effects), Luca Sguera(rhodes and prophet) and Giovanni Iacovella (“drums, live electronic”) aim to rethink the traditional small band, the trio. They do this by subtracting. They explain that the concept is to create music together, starting with a thinner idea and layering it with more radical improvisation.
