Sidney De Paris

Sidney De Paris, born May 30, 1905 Crawfordsville (Indiana) and died September 13, 1967 New York City. He was an American jazz trumpeter. He was the son and brother of Wilbur and Fannie de Paris. He recorded with Charlie Johnson’s Paradise Ten (1926-1931), Don Redman (1932-1936, 1939), Zutty Soloton (1939-1941), Benny Carter (40-41), Art Hodes (1941), and Don Redman (1932-1936, 1939 and 1939).
