Silje Nergaard, a Norwegian singer/songwriter of international renown, is Silje. With 13 albums total, she is Norway’s best-selling Jazz artist. Her career spans over 20 years. Silje was a strong songwriter from the moment she first entered the Norwegian music scene at 16 years old. She had her first hit song “Tell Me where You’re Going”, which she co-wrote with Pat Metheny. It reached the #1 spot in Japan, and was even named a wine after it!
