Simon Vincent

Simon Vincent was nominated for the Paul Hamlyn Award as Artists in 2014. He is a composer and performer of acoustic music and electronic music. Since the early 1990’s, he has challenged the boundaries of genre and musical expression through a highly personal style. Simon Vincent’s music is described as “visionary and expressive”, as “rich and surprising”, as “intelligent”, as “delicate”, as “impressionistic”, as “fresh”, as “incredibly individual”, and “masterful compositions”. His music has received praise from many critics including Ben Watson, Julian Cowley and Gilles Peterson.
