S.P.E was founded by Karel Eriksson and consists of some of the most sought-after musicians in Graz. The band’s name represents the spirit we strive for when playing. In the sense that music doesn’t have to be perfect, it can sometimes speak more when it is messy. Mixing riff-based/free improvised material and through-composed songs gives the repertoire enough structure to keep the listener interested, but also allows them to relax enough to allow the flow to take over if they feel the need. from www.kareleriksson.com
