Special Beat was formed in the early 1990s by former members of the English Beat and Specials. Graham Hamilton, a Fine Young Cannibals trumpeter, is also present. They have enjoyed considerable success on the road in Japan and England with their featured repertoire of Specials/English Beat songs. All of their recordings are live and all very similar. Allmusic
