Jay Beckenstein, a saxophonist, founded Spyro Gyra in 1974. They have been one of the most successful pop-jazz bands of the last 30 years. In 1976, the band was able to make it a full-time business and has been on tour ever since. This band’s music combines R and E. Critics love to attack it.
