Since 2007, STABAT AKISH, a French rock band, has been growing in Toulouse. It is an experimental sextet, which flings a mix of avantgarde, jazz, and Rock In Opposition around Maxime DELPORTE, the bassist / composer. John Zorn was the producer of the first album Stabat Ashish, which was released by Tzadik, New York in 2009. It is a category called “Composer Series”. In 2012, the second album, Nebulos was released by Altrock, an Italian label. The third album is currently in production.
