Stan Sulzmann is a veteran of the UK’s jazz scene. His varied career includes playing with musicians such as Kenny Wheeler and Larry Grenadier, and as a bandleader. Stan’s Neon Quartet, which is always moving forward, sees him among the UK’s most highly-respected young musicians. Their latest album, “Subjekt”, explores Stan’s constantly-changing musical influences. Stan is also an accomplished composer and arranger. His vibrant arrangements for big bands have inspired and excited people for 25 years. In 2013, Stan was asked to compose a piece for the London Jazz Festival. Stan is a highly sought-after sideman and has performed with many musicians including Jim Mullen, John Taylor, Nikki Iles (Mike Gibbs), Marc Coplands, Allan Botchinksy.
