Stefan Aeby

Stefan Aeby, a pianist, was born in Fribourg (Switzerland) in 1979. He began piano lessons at the conservatory at the age of nine. In 2001, he graduated from piano and theory school with a certificate. He continued to study with Jean Christophe Cholet and Patrick Muller, as well as Don Friedman. He began his work as a piano teacher at “Montreux Jazz School” in 2004 and completed his university studies (arts u0026 musk). He played with Dereck Gardner, Adam Nussbaum and Brad Leali during the “generations masterclass workshops”, 2000 and 2002. He was also a member of Phil Collins’ “little wishes foundation” and the film company “lanterne magique”. Apart from his own quartets, he also played with Rory Stuart, Daniel Perrin and Alain Tissot. He also participated in an inter-national tour with the “Clautiio Pontiggia Quartet” in 2003 with Marcel Papaux and Peter Bokius. Samuel Blaser Trombone Player Samuel Blaser was born in La Chaux de Fonds, France in 1981. At the age of nine, he began playing trombone at his local conservatory. He completed his classical studies there in 2003. He has continued his studies with Danillo Moccia and Adrian Mears as well as Hal Crook and Jacques Henry. He was a member of the “swiss-jazz orchestra”, which allowed him to perform with Buddy de Franco, Clark Terry and Bobby Shew. He won the Benny Goison Prize at the “generations masterclass V” in autumn 2000. He was accompanied by: Claudio Roditi/Franck Tortiller/Claudio Poniggia group; Brad Leali; Arkady Shilkoper; Miles Evans; Francis Varris, Malcolm Braff and MatthieuMichel.
