Stephan Braun was born in 1978 and studied jazzcello and classical cello at the universities in Hamburg and Berlin. Stephan performed with Schauspielhaus Hamburg and Berliner Ensemble. He also worked with NDR-Bigband, Don Thomson, Boi Takih, Kristjan Randalu and Annamateur. He won the Jazz 1st Prize in 2004.
