The veteran composer, alto and band leader combines the sounds of jazz’s most celebrated composers to create his own unique voice. His Washington, DC-based band performs a set of original compositions that is both traditional but modern. Williams and his band, along with Eddie Daniels, prove that Big Bands can be “alive” and are both creative, innovative, and inspiring. Williams was the former Music Director for the U.S Navy Commodores.
