Susan Clynes’ musical journey begins at birth when she is given her first piano by her father, pianist/composer Darius Clynes. As a child, music was her mothertongue. She learns piano and composition from Frank Nuyts and Marie-Sophie Talbot. She is a singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist who has already produced her first album “Sugar for a Dream” at the age of 17. Her new trio, Dries Geusens and Laurens van Bouwelen, is currently exploring pop music’s boundaries, combining it with her jazz and contemporary composition experience.
