Susan Weinert, 24 June 1965 – 2 Mars 2020), was a German guitarist/songwriter. Weinert was born in Neunkirchen. She was regarded as one of the greatest jazz fusion performers, having performed over 3,000 times. WDR radio selected Mysterious Stories, her 1992 debut album, as jazz production of year. Francesco Cottone was the singer, while Martin Weinert, Weinert, was on bass. Hardy Fischotter played drums on Running Out of Time. Weinert, 54, died of cancer on March 2, 2020.
