Syrinx is a French instrumental rock band, which was formed in 1999 from Annecy (Haute-Savoie and Rhone-Alpes). Syrinx purposely kept their identities secret, so the exact line up is not known. The promo CD-Rom for Reification states that Syrinx’s musicians come from various bands, some of them well-known at a national and international level. They all work together towards a common goal that bears the Syrinx name: the career and name of each musician is irrelevant. According to web sources, the band consists of David Maurin (guitar and flute), Benjamin Croizy on keyboards, Samuel Maurin on bass, Philippe Maullet on drums.
