T.r.a.m.

Rarely do you find a band that is completely different from the norm. But T.R.A.M.’s debut album does just that. T.R.A.M.’s debut album does exactly that, while also blazing a trail for creativity that will soon turn heads around the globe. Many will refer to this unit as a “supergroup,” but the members of this dynamic unit don’t have any other purpose than to use it to express themselves without any limitations. T.R.A.M. T.R.A.M. is made up of renowned musicians such as Adrian Terrazas (The Mars Volta), on saxophone, flute and percussion, Javier Reyes (“Animals As Leaders”) on guitars, Tosin Absi (Animals As Leaders”) on guitars, Eric Moore (Suicidal Tendencies”) on drums. These are like-minded people who have natural talents and work together to create something truly extraordinary. Sumerian Records will release Lingua Franca, their much-anticipated debut album. Terrazas says: “Tosin and I were first introduced last summer by Raanen Bozzio (a mutual friend). I was also introduced to Javier Reyes and Animals As Leaders at this meeting. Abasi, Reyes, and I have had a wonderful relationship since then. After a month, we had already written the majority of the record. We met almost every day to discuss ideas. Eric Moore was an amazing drummer who is also the most joyous person we know. Soon, everything we had imagined rhythmically came together at our first meeting/recording session, which took place at the Farias productions studios on T.R.A.M. I don’t know what people will think of our music. I set out to instill in people a strong feeling of energy or emotion. This new project has helped me achieve this goal tenfold. All of us have a passion for performing this material live, and we are eager to see the band grow. We look forward to hearing what you all think of it.” from http://www.facebook.com/TRAMband
