T-square

They are a Japanese fusion instrumental group that made their debut in 1976. 28 years ago, “THE SQUARE”, led by Masahiro Butoh, was founded. Their debut album, “LUCKY SOMER LADY”, was released in 1978. To date, they have released over 30 original albums. They radiate energy and enthusiasm abroad. After their first performance in 1994, four additional performances were held all over Asia, including in Korea. Their popularity has not grown beyond the United States, where they released their album. They changed their name to T-SQUARE in 1989, due to U.S.A activity. They celebrated their 25th year anniversary in 2003 and reformed “THE SQUARE” again. They invited Keizo Kawano, a new drummer Bando Satoshi, and a large group of musicians. At the tender age of 22, he was a support keyboard player for card-carrier. The album “PASSION FLOR” was released in April 2005. It gave new life to “T-SQUARE”. 2004 saw the launch of a concert tour across the country with 19 stops. Live broadcasts reflected their charm. In April 2005, they will release “BLOOD MUSIK”, a 32-song album. In July, a performance in Korea was agreed upon. Text contributed by users is available under Creative Commons By–SA License.
