Takayuki WAMURA, a Japanese trumpeter, hails from Iwakuni. He started playing the trumpet at age 10 and has been playing since then. He started his career in jazz music by playing with brass bands. His 2007 debut album, “Harbor Wind”, featured his original songs and was well received in the Japanese music / audio world. In 2010, his ballad “Ballads”, a collaboration with his music mates, including a pianist Yumiko Kusano (“Yumiyumi”) was released.
