Tania Chen is an experimental musician, free improviser and musician. She is an electronic musician who plays keyboards, piano, found objects and toys. She is an expert interpreter of Morton Feldman, Cornelius Cardew and John Cage. Tania makes video pieces and compositions that explore sound and performance. Tania holds a BA in Art and History of Art (UCL) and a Masters in Performance Studies (Goldsmiths College), University of London (MMus). Her love of sound has led her to perform and record in many places around the world, including Tokyo, Berlin, London, Tokyo, San Francisco, LA and New York. Tania has recorded and performed live with John Cage’s Music of Changes for solo piano, John Cage’s “Indeterminacy” with Stewart Lee.
