Takeshi Fujii was the founder and producer of Three Blind Mice. He created the all-star band of eight Japanese jazz musicians in 1977 and recorded seven days of studio recordings that resulted in three albums. The supergroup featured a who’s who in Japanese jazz: Takao Uematsu and Kenji Mori on saxophones, MasaruImada on piano, Masayuki Takayanagi and Hideto Kanai, on bass, Nobuyoshi Io on electric bass, Hiroshi murakami on drums, and Yuji Impamura onpercussion. from www.eastwindimport.com
