The Drummonds

Renee Rosnes, a Canadian pianist, and Billy Drummond, her American husband, burst onto jazz’s scene in the late 1980s. They’ve shared the stage with many stars including Joe Henderson, Archie Shepp and Wayne Shorter. Rosnes also enjoyed a lengthy stint at Blue Note Records. The trio is joined by Ray Drummond, a bassist (no relation), and they produce a CD that features elegant and engaging interpretations jazz and pop standards.
