The Fourth Way

The American jazz quartet The Fourth Way consisted of Eddie Marshall, Mike Nock and Michael White. The group was formed in 1967. They released three albums and primarily worked in the San Francisco Bay Area from the beginning of the 1970s. They were pioneers in electric jazz fusion like Weather Report and their contemporaries. Their Fender Rhodes piano was run through many effects pedals, including ring modulation, Michael White’s electrically amplified violin and Ron McClure’s electric bass. Wikipedia
