Two educators from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, Al Hood and Dave Hanson, have assembled a 17-piece ensemble that includes some of Denver’s best. The band’s out-of-town members are a special feature. They include Glenn Kostur, a baritone saxophonist, and Mike Rodriguez, trumpeters Jason Carder, Bobby Shew, and Jason Carder.
