Felipe Salles (saxophone), Chico Pinheiro(guitar), Tiago Cosa (piano) and Edu Ribeiro (“drums”) are lifelong friends who have forged a bond over the years to create The Reunion Project. Four Brazilian musicians grew up in Sao Paulo, listening to jazz and Brazilian music. This music influenced each of their careers. Twenty-something years later, the debut album of “Varanda”, a quintet, shows the diverse roots and youthful camaraderie of its members. It also features Bruno Migotto as a bassist.
