Tisziji Muñoz

Tisziji Munoz was a musician from an early age. He was already a drummer at the age of three. Despite chronic nerve damage to his left wrist, he joined the Mongo Santa Maria circle as a prodigy drumming. He learned how to play the guitar and joined The Arrogants Doo-Wop band, which recorded four songs in Hollywood including Canadian Sunset. TM was a percussionist during his service in the U.S. Army 440th Gen’s Band. Tisziji was discharged with an honor and moved to Toronto where he played a major role in the growth of Toronto’s underground musical scene. He was a guitarist with Hair and Godspell and met and inspired Paul Shaffer, the world-famous keyboard player who became Tisziji’s primary accompanist between 1970 and 1972. After his return to the U.S. Tisziji met Pharoah, a jazz saxophonist. He later toured six years with him. After raising his four children in New York City TM established Anami Music Productions to produce his music, and The Illumination Society for his spiritual teaching and writing. Tisziji’s works, which encompass music, spirituality, and time-mastery allow him to transcend and defy all schools of thought while validating The Spiritual Heart-Source. from http://www.heartfiresound.com
