Tom Rizzo

The music of Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny, Jim Hall and Pat Martino, John McLaughlin and Gene Bertoncini, Steve Khan and Mike Stern influenced LA-based guitarist Tom Rizzo. He plays pop, funk and folk music, as well. Tom is a long-standing member of Doc Severinsen’s and Maynard Ferguson’s bands. He was also a member the Tonight Show Band during its final Carson years where he composed and arranged much the music that was heard on the show. Tom is a prolific writer and has written music for many hit TV shows, including “In Living Color,” “Comic Relief,” “Titus,” “Titus,” as well as independent films. His other films include “Imaginary Numbers,” which featured Peter Erskine and Bob Sheppard, as well as “A Secret Garden,” featuring Dave Carpenter. from http://originarts.com
