The music of Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny, Jim Hall and Pat Martino, John McLaughlin and Gene Bertoncini, Steve Khan and Mike Stern influenced LA-based guitarist Tom Rizzo. He plays pop, funk and folk music, as well. Tom is a long-standing member of Doc Severinsen’s and Maynard Ferguson’s bands. He was also a member the Tonight Show Band during its final Carson years where he composed and arranged much the music that was heard on the show. Tom is a prolific writer and has written music for many hit TV shows, including “In Living Color,” “Comic Relief,” “Titus,” “Titus,” as well as independent films.
