Steve McQuarry (Piano u0026 Leader) was raised in Denver Colorado, where his mom played the piano. He attended the University of Colorado at Denver’s Eastman School of Music and Berklee School of Music. He is an active member of Audio Engineering Society (AES), a performance rights organization, Broadcast Musicians, Inc (BMI), Electronic Music Foundation (EMF), American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers, (ASMAC), American Society of Music Composers (ASMAC), American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers, (ASMAC), Chamber Music America (CMA) and the Society For Electro-Acoustic Music In The United States (SEAMUS). Stephen has performed with prominent artists like Dizzy Gillespie (Charlie Parker), Louie Bellson (Charlie Parker), Red Rodney (Charlie Parker), Laurie Anderson, Vinnie Colaiuta, Vinnie Colaiuta, Vinnie Zappa (Sting Herbie Hancock and Frank Zappa), Nathan East(Eric Clapton Herbie Hancock, Bob James), Bill Rich (Jimi Hendrix Buddy Miles, Taj Mahal), and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Stephen composes and records on Mandala Records, and is currently working on orchestration projects. Marcus Lopez, bassist and producer from San Francisco via Cuba has performed with SF Salsa Band Cubanacan. Also, he has played with Sheila E, Jeorge Santana bands, Malo, Francisco Aguabella, ChuchitoValdez’ Limbo (Book of Voices of Latin Rock), local SF Latin Rock 1970 “Amanda Hughes”, Cesar’s Band. Europe Platinum Award Winner local Act Mission Varrio Project Dr Tequila (Sony Records), CD with Richie Barron u0026 the Mission D Mob. Carlos Caro, a native Cuban Percussionist, was educated musically throughout his youth and is a well-traveled professional performer. He won the Europe Platinum Award for local Act Mission Varrio Project, Dr Tequila (Sony Records) CD with Richie Barron and the Mission D Mob. He was the first bongosero of Opus 13 and Paulito FG in Cuba and played and recorded with Jackeline Castellanos back in Cuba in the 1990’s.In the U.S. he has played with Rebeca Mauleon, Omar Sosa, Eddie Palmieri, Armando Perazza,Carlos Santana,Jorge Santana,QBA, Avance,Orquesta La Moderna Tradicion,Cubanacan,Taj Mahal,Lenny Williams,Sheila E,Pete Escovedo,Malo,Wayne Wallace,Pellejo Seco,Havana de Primera,Tribu, and his own group Vission Latina among many others. He has been a Grammy winner and played with Pacific Mambo Orquestra, the Norteno Group Los Tigres del Norte with whom he toured in 2015. Ruben Salcido, composer and arranger, is a long-time resident of the SF Bay Area, having studied with Joe Henderson, Mel Martin, and Saxophone. Ruben is currently a member of the Full Spectrum Jazz Band as well as The Bob Enos Legacy Big Band. He performs in many groups throughout the Bay Area. Dave Casini (vibraphone)
